Evidently whenever a fire hydrant is turned on the police have to attach a meter and be there to observe, per Homeland Security, it all until it's disconnected again. What do you think about that furiends?

Homeland Security Dollars Hard at Work
Today, from my perch on my porch, I watched this police car, officer inside, sit from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm - all day. It's hot here so thank heavens he had his A/C running. I thought for sure that there was a big bust going down or something! Oh the excitement of it all! Then I observed this man hooking a fire hose up to the fire hydrant. Then he dragged it across the street to a lot where a house is being built. How'd I do on the pics? Well scroll down and find out what it was all about!
