We found this article interesting and helpful and perfect for the summer season. Guess it captured our attention because it includes the doggy paddle stroke and our company name is Doggy Paddle Products! Weird, it doesn't mention wrestling to the death to try and get him in the water. We didn't know pugs were built to sink though. Whoops! Maybe a lifejacket in in his future.
Interesting post...we think Disco would sink cuz he kinda looks like a Pug, hahameow!
Any long dogs with short legs should be watched very carefully around water. The article did not mention dachshunds and they absolutely cannot swim, either. When my mom was a 911 dispatcher, she got a call about a drowned dachshund in a pool. It was a very sad call to receive.
